ABSTRACT

The design concept draws from the proportional system and classical order of Palazzo Farnese, located directly opposite the site, reinterpreting them in a contemporary architectural language.

The façade translates the palazzo’s rhythmic structure and solid-void balance into a modern tectonic composition, using materials such as stone, metal, or precast concrete to evoke timelessness while asserting a distinct civic identity.

A transparent ground floor invites public interaction, while the upper levels play with depth and shadow, referencing Renaissance plasticity through minimalist detailing.

The result is a measured dialogue between history and modernity, rooted in context yet confident in its own time.
